It was in the Zone where the legend was born, probably the best big man ever created. In the Zone is the game I was thinking of when I said NBA2K which makes absolutely no sence since it was well before 2000 that it all started.

No doubt about it on 5minute quarters at the superstar level. I'm a second half player takes me the first half to get Keith off my mind then it's on. Just to make sure this tournament is going to take place after a draft has been completed right?

Everyone else is gonna be easy...Darcy and Ed I'll just work like a 15yr old Korean whore. As for Donnie his game is gonna be run and gun, and I know that he hasn't seen D like me before I'm up your jock from baseline to baseline, giving you that pelvic bump.

Alright, thought I'd join in on the action. First I have to say that the posts I've read a hilarious. Let's get down to business though. What's all this shit being talked. I'd say I got the most game by far. Now that Darcy introduced me to the "take a charge" technique I don't think my system can be broken. It's just too sound. My teams make less mistakes than a grade ten geometry test, our offensive firepower compares to any team being run by Steve Nash, and our team defense can only be compared to that of the three time champs Carelton Ravens. I'd have to say that Donnie's the next in line, only because he owns the game. Don't forget that two man tournament we had a few weeks back t-rainor. By the end of it I had to end up giving you two or three of my teams just so we could keep playing. You did beat my ass at Dougie's though.

I'd say Matt will be a nice run. If it's anything like the NFL2K or Madden games we use to have at Queen St. than it will be nothing less than a strategic battle. I wouldn't sleep on Ed just yet, I know he's a fan of the underdogs and it looks like he's taken that role for the moment. If Darcy has that starting five and works on his game like he says he will then it could be a good tourney all together, there won't be those easy wins anymore (Dougie).

Oh, I can't believe you guys haven't mentioned the game that revolutionized the basketball world. In The Zone one and two for PS2 was definitely in a league of its own. Never before could you play defense like that, the blocks, the steals. Also, the threes were nice. Isn't that where Ed first made the legendary Chaka Kahn?

Good old allas tournaments

I like the sound of that tournament. I'm going to have to get a pair of sweat pants and loafers just for the occassion because that is going to take all day. I'm "getting" live 2005 for the computer so I can get some practice in and don't come home cold and lose to ed again. Going to hurt my studying time but I think it is worth taking one for the team under these circumstances. Yeah it was NBA jam, I couldn't remember the name yesterday. PLaying basketball tomorrow, going to work on the boozer and the double pump, might see if I can add something new to my arsenal, perhaps the Bill walton dunking on little kids move, a classic. I would appreciate a double elimination with a crossover round and groups a- d with one of them being the group of death, see if you can work that into the bball tourney (I'm Qatar, if we go international)

Ok, what is with you guys giving Trevor all the love in live, I beat him down by 20 points too.... No one gave me even close to a game over at Dougie's.... in two tournaments. Mind you Trevor did give me the closest competition with only a twenty point game (in two minute quarters), but everyone else was losing by 30 or more to the Brasco. So Allas please come home soon so I can hopefully have some competition...

My Jacket = Mark's Napkin

Darcy and Jeff were the biggest lay-up losers ever in the history of NBA JAM (that was the game). And it was grade 12 in Saint John when Mark came with us and agreed with everything Darcy said, and also used my jacket as a napkin for his pizza party. You could take all those chumps and put them on a team and I'll still out rebound you. Mostly cause I'll shot 85%.

And as for the tournamet, I'll have a preliminary Excel version posted soon (once I can figure out how). To sum it up we'll have an initial round detriming everyone's skill level, and then we'll break up into 2 divisions and work through and round robin leading into a tournament style playoff format. All tie breakers will be determined by total points against ONLY. Therefore if you can't play D your gonna be in trouble. Get that right analog stick working. Play in practice mode and do you defensive slides.

Best basketball game I eve played was a 2 on 2 bball game for nintendo 64 I think which I was teamed up with Jeff Grandy on a basketball trip and he wouldn't dunk the ball, only finger rolls. We beat everyone on our team, might have been in grade 11 on the A team with Rich. We were the pacers, he was Smits I was Reggie... what a combo.
I am going to need to buy myself a ps2 if I want to compete in nba live. The only person I could beat was Dougie and he had no game. I want to pick all 5 guys then I can go undefeated:

COACH K's....for Sega Genesis!

That was the name of the college game that we used to rock. I remember drawning up a tournament model on that mini chaulk board in Ed's basement. Go figure that I now make financial merger models for a living. Who knew? Anyway ....that Coach K game was money cause we could all have a team in the tournament and go through it....and get the home crowd pumped. Until Trevor figured out that you could push guys out of bounds, and then for the last three minutes of close games would be someone running at you full speed when you were close to the line.

I wish I could have been home to play Vid's with Keith. I'm missing him a lot lately and my Xbox. But really though I'm a dangerous man with anybody.....remember I'm the guy who lost his job and got up early everyday to play Xbox. And I know that everyone has a PS2, but it doesn't matter, I can still kill it with them little anti-ergonomic controllers.

Ed as far as the best basketball game.....for me it was Live '98, but only when I was watching Donnie play it with all the rules off, in his basement, sitting like a fucking yoga master! And he'd be winning by like 70 and loving every minute of it.

Best Bball Vid Ever?????

So serious games of NBA live were played last night in preperation for Allas's triumphant return. I'll admit it Trevor and Donnie were held it down but my effort won't be so weak when serious chips are on the line and Allas has the brackets all drawn up. It will be serious tourny time and Donnies efforts to coerce me into conversation causing my leads to vanish will be futile. Plus Keith was there in full effect and although all those who attended left elevated, I was already lifted to that elevation before the draft had begun.

Now on a serious note. Which Basketball game resulted in the best tournaments? Or is simply the best video basketball game given it's time? I'm going with the College game we used to kill at Allas's apartement, shit I think it was for Sega Genesis! Or NBA2K which lead to the establishment of Shauka Kahn.

Remember that trip J. Started off wondering why we were always so tired. Exaust leak into the back seat. Then we got to Windsor and relized that the tire was getting flat. Went into a garage told the guy we had no money and that we needed a new tire....surprisingly he gave us one and put it on too. J then promised him that he'd come back and pay him later. Finally we get to butt fuck nowhere and don't even look for a spot for J. Just got some snacks and headed back to PEI. I fell asleep with the seat laid back and my arm in the back seat holding a giant wrench we had for our skateboards.....J gets pulled over for speeding and the french cop thinks that I'm holding the wrench to get ready to bash him. Didn't help that we were driving in the Sundance with stained wife beaters on, looking like hoods.

Also that night Ed was talking about was the night that we got Reverse back....remember. 4 drives and 1 park and I think we had a neutral. Fuck that was money......as far as the song...I don't know ....probably LL maybe Loungin'. But I need more to go on.

Wow the Sundance really. What a ride that was. Everyone climbing in through one door, had to pay an admission fee of a cassette, or through some change in the jar. Fuck remember the night we tried to find that field party. We left Charlottetown without any gas driving through dirt road after dirt road tring to find that party. That was a messed night. The rent a cop, pushing jumping on then going as far as we could, finally getting gas starting the car only to have it stall after everyone had already left, then finally the church, Whoa!

Oh and hope everyone is working on there live skills. I know Trevor's are tight, apparently Allas is feeling like a Guru and gonna break everyone, personally I don't remember him being that good. I'm deadly with Seatlle so watch out now.

Can't wait to hear Darcy play the ole guitar again......his one and only fucking song. I was listening to a rock internet radio staion yesterday at work and it played that song. I just laughed my ass off for like 10 min. Yo Ides, I was chatting with your girl the other day....I was like " why the fuck is Ed moving to Hali?". Stay with that girl man....I'm tellin ya. Donnie I will be coming home on tuesday (22nd) until wednesday the (3oth). Lyndsay was able to find some cheap flights to halifax for 200$ return. J if you are interested in going to pei for a week just let me know and we can maybe pick you up are our way home. The deb will be picking me up at 8:40ish on tuesday and returning me around 5ish on the wednesday, unless Ichange my flight. Bought one of the new ipod minis, should be here on monday or tuesday, excited! Finally someone to play with

Did you get PES2 or PES4? Get 4 and a better control, I am using a PS2 controller that plugs into a usb aadaptor I got on ebay for a couple bucks, works very well. Then we can play against each other and I will kick your ass because that is all I do. I agree with the hieghts problem... no thank you... I say that despite being on the 4th/10th floor of my building (it is in the side of a hill). I say we make a pool for how long donnie lasts with his ironman-2-job-marathon. I say 2 weeks tops before he loses it.

Yeah I heard they are looking for a new dean but I don't know anything about why. He is quite the character. We had a party at his "pad" at the beginning of the year. The place was fucking huge. His yard was probably 2 or 3 acres, on the water, and his neighbours house was giant and it had it's own pond with central fountain... ridiculous. For the party there was pig and lamb roasting on an open spit and a trailer as big as a couple closets full of beer for everone to drink (open bar). It was awsome. If you ever plan on coming to montreal come when we have that party and you won't be sorry. The whole time he walked around with a half open button up shirt that was soaking with sweat and Ithink he changed it multiple times, looks very much like your average swinger. I thought his wife was going to be the next dean (that is what he said, maybe not. Doubt the family is going to be very busy so just come home whenever you can get a cheap ticket. My only goal is to sleep on the couch the whole time and not in the room that deb will have spent days cleaning and preparing for me. And for clarification Ian doesn't work in Wawa he wonders in the woods outside of wawa scaring small children and wrestling bears for fish. In the soccer game I have I made a Winsloe West Royalty FC team and made some sweat uni's for us... working on getting us all in the game (yeah I am a loser)

So i was taking a crap the other day at work and while sifting through the paper I noticed that McGill is looking for a new Dean of Dentistry....what's up with that Darcy. Sketchyness in the program I think.

Ian works in WAWA....fuck we drove through there on the cross Canada adventure. That place is small as fuck and in the middle of nowhere. But it is the home of Chris Simon aka Calgary Flames goon. I'll give you a brief story on my time in Wawa.

It was about 10am we had been driving for almost 4 hours already and needed a pit stop for some coffee and food. Enter Wawa. After driving by a giant Canadian Goose on the edge of town we soon found ourselves on main street aka the only street in town. After driving around for a minute we decided on a small (family run) coffee shop. It looked packed, so we figured it must be good. Went in........it was now that I knew Wawa was a small place....cause everyone in the place just stopped talking and looked at us like we were black and it was 1965 in Mississippi. Well after getting our food, we sat and started to eat. Beside us were a few local girls ...looked to be about 15-18, two were pregnant and the other was holding a baby. I wasn't paying too much attention to them until I heard one girl say:
" ...yeah I'm fucking sick of hearing my mom tell me that I need to go back to school and finish grade 9.." (the other girls agree) she continues "....I already have 3 kids and get enough money from social (services I assume) to live perfect. And if I can win my court case against (insert some guy's name here) then I will have enough money to live forever."

I looked and Gillian and said let's get out of Wawa.....NOW!

I'm trying to figure out when to book my ticket home for this summer. I'm either thinking about coming home a week before C-dot's wedding and leaving after or coming home right before and then staying for a week......I want to be able to hang with everyone so let me know. Also Darcy find out if you think you and the Fam will be too busy that week leading up to things.

Mr Blonson has informed me that he will be coming to montreal for a couple days with his new doggie on his way home. Started watching the matrix, haven't seen that movie in awhile. Might see if there is commentary. Need to have a nap because I only had 4 hours sleep last night, had to study for a fucking anatomy exam. Managed to memorize the muscles, nerves, and vessels of the forearm and hand in a day only to have 2 or 3 questions on the tests, wowie, what a waste. I might be home for the summer (july - august) working in an orthodontists office so Donald can you sign me up for soccer. J I also want some risky biz sweatpants.

Whad up ya'll. Everyone kinda disappeared there for a while and it seems to be just Darcy keepin us alive. Anyway today is Allas' 25th birthday, fuck I'm feeling old. Not old enough to get married though. I'll give Goran's wedded bliss 1 year, that's about the time his wife will be completely sick of Goran calling her 'girl', and realize it's not a nickname it's just that he can't fucking remember her name.
I have started my new jorb and so far so good. I work realtively long hours but it doesn't seem bad at all. Usually start at or before 7:30am and usually get home 7pm or later depending on the day. The best part is that we go out for dinner every night and it is expensed, so we hit only the best spots. It's not doing much for my current relationship, we usually go out after work for drinks or whatever and I don't get home until like 10-11pm. Also when at the bar in a suit, girls always ask what you do, and very much enjoy to hear the words 'investment banker' come out of the mouth. As we all know I have a slight self-control problem when in comes to women, so we'll have to see where this ship takes me.
J, I still want a pair of risky biz pants....hook it the fuck up....just let me know what I need to do I on my end....if you can get them to me...I'll hook you up with a MONEY belt buckle. This is the town to be in if you need a good buckle.

Bought some good teas on the weekend, white tea, which apparently is less fermented then green tea, is pretty taste and lyndsay got springtime or spring leaf or spring time tea, also taste. Going to work on making a collection of various types. At the store they had these balls that were hand sewn green tea leaves with a flower in the center that expands out when you put it in hot water, very cool to see, but how the hell they get the flower on the inside and sew leaves together. Think I am developing carpal tunnel syndrome in my right wrist because it is damn sore on the anterior surface. Need someone to become a family doctor so me, megan, and lyndsay can open a family health center... ie The Clellho(insert portion of last name) Center.
News is that ron will be getting the pool table back soon and refelted, tournaments will be beginning the following day.
