Vegas....WOW!

So to start, I'll list all the celebs that we personally saw and those who we missed (or heard were just there).

I'm sure there are more but that's all I can remember at the moment. So now, it is almost impossible for me to explain how these 3 nights in Vegas went so I'll try and just give you some highlights.

The girls we were with (some from LA) knew a bunch of DJ's that were spinning at various clubs all weekend, thus we were able to skip a lot of lines and get in with relative ease to some dope spots. New Year's Eve we had a private table right behind the dance floor in the VIP section at Tao (due to one of these DJ's). This is where I saw Sir Charles aka A Fat Mess. He was in another one of these booths a couple down, as was Paris with her entourage of hot ass skinny girls, her 19 yr old boyfriend and a bunch of model looking kids. Saw Kanye kinda at the $1,000 dollar minimum blackjack tables at the Bellagio around 5am on New Year's. He was surrounded by a large number of very large homies and A LOT of hot bitches. NOTE: Even the third row homie had a 30" sparkling chain on....quite humorious.

All in all a crazy weekend, and with Vegas being so close to LA it was funny to see all the ganstas and mexican essays (sp?) walking around. I've add a like at the bottom that is to pictures from the club I was at for New Year's.


Yeah I heard that book was good....I am currently reading Confessions of an Economic Hitman. It is a true story and I suggest everyone read it...or just read about it cause it is proof that the american government runs the world.

Detox???

Yeah so I like to get drunk on holidays... I'd say for about a month straight (except for maybe 3 or 4 days) I had a few drinks.... Tis the season I guess. So I'm going straight edge for one month... (Starting tommorow). Joey Neale leaves tommorow for Australia again, so tonight we shall have a few drinks, maybe talk to Keith (mos def...) and then it's the straight and narrow for a while. Anywhoo, it was good to see everyone over the holidays, but I'm glad it's over, things got a little bit crazy there for a while. So yeah Allas did you make a porno with Paris or what??? Stick it in her pooper??? I bet you didn't even wrap your whopper... You'd better double wrap it if you're going brown belt a la Paris.... You're probably gonna need some detox as well after that weekend...

On a different note I just finished reading a million little peices and would deffinetely reccomend. Unreal...

So as I've said before I'm going to Vegas for New Year's. I am going to this club called Tao for the new year's bash, and when I got our tickets it said guest host "To Be Announced" ....well I found out today who the guest host is.

Big weekend

Friday, Donnie and I took in a little Risky Business. Where Scarth gave a large shout out to Rick's League followed by the cheers of the 15 years old ladies. It was a good show.

Saturnday, well I was pretty Cranked on Saturnday. I was told there was a drinking pouring, bitching slapping, spitting and swearing incident. I do not recall this event, I do remember yelling a lot.

Sunday, 3 hours of 3 on 3 basketball. Sausey Chicken was getting pissed with my no jumping boards. Then a little 06 action where Darcy killed at the 3 ponit comp with Greg Ostertag.

Monday, Didn't sleep at all then drove home at 11:00am

All in all, big weekend. Nice seeing the crew minus ED.

Man, I haven't been on her in a minute. I've been missing some action for sure.

I gotta go with Nas on this one. Just because it's got the most play time for me. Come on now, "The World is Yours", "Halftime", "Life's a Bitch", "Memory Lane", the album is full of classics. Matt, that line by DJ Premier is sick though. And definitely true. Who is gonna fuck with Biggie's Reign. Me and Ed watched a tribute to Biggie the other day. Ready to Die may be the best album ever. "It was all a dream", you know the rest.

I'm liking the gear Matt. Your definitely pimpin with those pink kicks.

Ok J, out of those three. Wow Illmatic vs. Reasonable Doubt is one of the hardest head to heads out there. I'm a steal a quote from DJ Premier when he was here in Calgary. "Illmatic spit the game/Reasonable doubt pumped his name/both drew them fame/we all know the claim/but no one's gonna fuck with Biggie's Rein" Then he blasted "Who Shot Ya" and the place blew the fuck up. So there is my answer.

Nas Jay Z blends

J Mick Boogie and Joey Fingaz did some Jigga Nas blends which are fairly tight. "Back on the block" and "Haters" are nice.

Tough pick J, but really you could have thrown all Nas albums up there since "Gods Son" is as dirty as any of them (seem to remember me Allas, and TPost playing nothing but GTA Vice City, smoking mad dope and listening to nothing but that album all chrstmas one year).

Can't handle all this kicks talk. Hurting me bad, thought I was doing alright with a variety of chucks, and my dunk low's but clearly you boys are chillen at a whole new level.

Gonna go with illmatic, cause it's a better album than I am... and I haven't heard that jay z album. John, I'm assuming you didn't come over this weekend. I didn't check the blog until today.... J can you get me a hoodie? even 2 if they are good. I am dying to get one that fits right and I haven't been having any luck, 18$ isn't bad either. If you can't that is cool. Getting a new hoodie is like having a new best friend... yeah I am a loser.
Think I will be home around the 18th but am not totally sure yet.
I am going to pick Nas I am, but I haven't listened to any of those albums, but I think it has the best cover, which is clearly an indication of how good the music will be.

Step Ya Game Up.

DJ Premier is all I listen too lately.... I would KILL to see him... I a dude I work with/for about you seeing Premier and he almost shit himself. He almost got Premier to come to Hali, but shit got cancelled somehow.

Fly jeans and dope kicks are what I'm about too. Everyday I wear Lucky Brand Jeans and just my vans slip ons for now, but soon I'm going to buy a pair of Air Max 90's or AM 95's.... I like the 180's too. All Mike and I did on tour was going into amazing fucking shoe stores that had like tiffany and stussy dunks for like $400. In Hollywood we went to this shoe store called Undefeated and it was fucked. Mike bought a pair of all white AM90's there... I almost bought a pair of vans slip ons that were like $200.

I was in the Alife store in NYC too... the layout to the shop is soooo amazing. If I ever open any kind of store, it will totally be based off the Alife shop.

American Apparel.... the shirt place that I print at only prints on american apparel clothes and I get anything I want at cost... sooo good... hoodies cost about $35 in store and I can get them for $18 or something.

Donnie (maybe Ed), I better see you(both) at the next RB show in Ch'town on the 16th. Ask the Trainor Crank for details. I'll be back there on the 20th for about a week or so.

So I'm sure everyone heard about jay-z reuniting with Nas last week... Nas came onstage and sang with jay on Dead Presidents. I have the mp3 of it... the place goes off.. I swear you can hear girls crying they're so happy. I get chills listening to it.
