Hey fellas, hope everyone had a great christmas break. Mine was alright, did a lot of snowboarding and video game playing, that's about it. Good to see ya in Fernie Allas, (as well as Katie and Rankin). We all went snowboarding together and on the last run of the day I fucking ruined myself. Hit a jump and landed right in front of another "mogul" jump made from the hill just being tracked out at the end of the day. Needless to say I was not ready for this second jump and it launched me auckwardly into the air and I proceeded to roll my ankle and dislocate my shoulder on the "landing". I took the day off work yesterday to rest/recupperate, returned to work today and I'm happy to report that my recovery is going a lot better than expected and hope to be back on the hill this weekend. Yo yo....well getting back into the swing of work was much harder than I anticipated. I guess 12 days of drinking (or Christmas) caught up to me and recovering was not so easy having to get up every morning at 6am. But aside from that I was pretty pleased with the trip.

Darcy....you telling me that you were going to call before you left your house is not the same as sending me a text message from some unknown number at 12:30am.

Ed....glad you showed up on New Years Eve...I was completely wasted and don't really remember that night but I do remember you being there and I have seen some photographic evidence.

Alright I'm back.... Been a while I guess. My bad fellas, my bad... So I've been working for a construction company in Fernie the last couple of weeks... Framing and making 18 shillings an hour... Not too shabby thus far, beautiful surroundings, mountains all around. Pretty cool. So I'm living in a trailer with a couple of Ian's friends, only paying 300 bones a month rent... I bought a 1991 chrystler mini van the other day for 850 clams, she needs a couple upgrades but other than that she runs like a top... She be fully loaded, power windows, locks, ect... Racing stripes, tinted windows, you fucking name it. She's the dope ride, I'll send pics soon. I went to go pick it up today and get her insured but the fucking cock sucking mother cunting insurance assfucks won't let me until I get my birth certificate shipped out here. They won't accept my passport for some fucking unbelievable reason beyond comprehension. But I was cool as a rasta, didn't lose it at all, as you can all imagine. I should have her on the road on friday if all goes well. The ladies will soon follow (I fucking hope so or I am gonna lose it real soon). Other than that, bought a season pass at the ski hill as well as a snowboard and gear for the upcoming season. Went out yesterday with Ian for the first time. First time snowboarding in like 7 years, but I did alright. Should be a fun winter... Unfortunately I won't be home for christmas. Sean Walsh, that's his name. I had no idea they were touting him as the next Scotty Morrison. He probably tore an ACL or something. I always thought the reason Darcy didn't get MVP was because they mixed up the names when announcing the winners. It's troubled me til this day...good to have closure on the issue once and for all.

Sauce was at bball camp that year, he was on my team. We had a legitimate squad don't really remmeber as far as results go. Allas definately remeber the Dale quote about Morell and no don't remember them doing anything. Maybe they had a good year in the A division. Oh wait if that was the case then I would remember because I was playing A ball with Micah Martin hahahah.

Since pretty much everyday I ref a bball game it's really the only news I have. Anyway today's update comes in the form of one of the greatest mullets I've ever seen. A JR. high kid from Montague. Was excellent, wish I had a camera phone so could of shared the wealth. Was long, curly, and flowed smoother then a RnB jam.

I don't really remember much from basketball camp so I am not sure why you guys thought I should have won MVP? Of course I have no idea why Guy smiley got it, he was horrible. I do remember Matt placing the rub on his johnson, being in agony and then getting kicked out of Dales drill, hilarious. I also don't remember winning but if trevor says we did then we did, I probably have the medal somewhere - who did we play in the finals? Was that the year that sauce's team was horrible? Did he go that year?. Having dale as our coach was the best part, especially since trevor and I were the only decent players (I seem to remember having a decent point gaurd as well no idea who though). If I recall correctly I did the same move over and over again - drive to the baseline, cut to the net, get fouled/score/miss and get rebound/get rejected/miss horrible and get subbed off.... rinse and repeat. We should get some ball in at christmas. I haven't played since the summer and get almost no physical activity, have no muscle, and sweat almost as much as allas's ass. I'll bring the head band and tight ass jazz jersey if I can find it.

Let's get a few things straight

First off, camp was the summer of '97 (we graduated the summer of '98). Sean Walsh was for sure his name and he was a chump. I remember Dale McIssac telling me one day at camp that we (Gray) better watch out for Morrell this year becasue they are going to surprise people. Does anyone even remember them from that year?

Donnie and I were talking about this when he was here, so it is fresh in my mind. Here are some good points:

• Donnie and I were on the same team, with Moore as our coach - we lost almost every game.

• Allas vs. Walsh (as proclaimed by Dale McIssac) ended 11-0...I believe Walsh got the ball once.

• I believe that All-Stars that year were TP, Donnie and myself......what happened to you and Darcy ...huh Ed?

• I put Rub 85-35 or whatever it was called 'too close' a lot of times that week and made both Dales very mad.

And finally, the reason Darcy did not get MVP was because, there was no way in hell they were going to give someone on Dale Farish's team (who was always full of grinders) MVP.


The days are getting close and I'm getting pumped to get the fuck out of here. Trev....Madden for Wii is waaaaaaay different....read about the controls on the internet before I get home. It's amazing.

GREAT BLOGGING! If those last few posts don't up the value of our website nothing will. I mean who's not going to want to check out our blog for references to Peter Forbes and Bball Camp 98. Seriously though hilarious references in there. Darcy as far as your questions go, there are some kids on Athena who got sick handles and are the real deal at the gaurd posistion. They just don't have a kid over 5"5 so are sturggling. East Wiltshire has a Peter Forbes esk kid, missed about 20 lay up in a game I did the other day. As far as Trev's kid, havn't seen him yet, but other officials had commented on his hustle and the fact that the only time he stops is when he runs into one of the end walls.

Bball camp 98, Sean Walsh I believe was his name. Just a stab at it let me know if I'm wrong cause I know someone knows for sure. Great year of camp, and yes Darcy was unstoppable. Would run the marathon offense where he'd dribble around the top of the key till his defender would give up then Darcy could go to the hole. Obvieously Morrell got it Morrison family right. Give me a break! You'd think that they'd be so impressed with someone with a head that big being able to cut like that and keep his balance hahahahahhahaaha.

Dec 22 to Jan 2...vaca

I thought you might like the '98 basketball camp reference Darce. Hopefully it doesnt' bring back painful memories of when you got the MVP title stolen by...what was that kids name?...Sean something, from Morell I think. He then faded into basketball obscurity Wayne Turner style. I seem to remember Darcy being unstopable at that camp.

I got a few kids on Queen Charlotte that meet those basketball characteristics. Actually, one kid has the Kurt Rambis hustle and the Peter Forbes layup...I think I may split the court up one of these days and make him do layups, end-to-end, full court for the whole practice. And I have in fact made reference to John Stockton when setting picks also. I believe the response from the guys was a blank stare. A similar response came when both Stockton and Malone were used to describe the pick and roll. Really though, who can you use from today's talent? I'm sure Deron Williams and Boozer have it in them though.

Your home the 21st eh Matt? I think we play Stonepark at 4:00, HUGE game (we'll try not to get dunked on), and then I'm good for a ten day bender really. Will probably call in sick that Friday, then I got work off until like Jan. 2nd or something. Definitely got to get some Madden 07 in. I didn't know if they had those kind of games for the Wii or not. Gotta get those audibles set and go to work. I need some competition for sure cause I think my record at home is something like 23-0...seriously, jBudd (roommate) needs some help big time. He's even below .500 in the franchise we got going. And yeah, can't wait for the Hip Hop is Dead album to come out. I heard a couple songs off it and should be real nice. I hate the new Blog set up. Now that it's December I gotta go back and click on each November post one at a time, brutal. Still nothing new round herrrrrrrrrrrr. Liv's board exam is Wednesday so I've been walking around on egg shells the last few weeks cause she's crazy stressed. Hopefully she does well so my plan of Freedom 27 can start to take effect.

Only new deal is BBall season kicked in so reffing mad bball games, 9 this week. Other day in SIS tourny a kid from Stonepark put down a legitamite dunk attempt in the game. Real smoth with little effort but he back rimmed it. Anyway definately caught me off gaurd, havn't seen anyone in JR. high dunk since I was in Grade 7 and we'd throw the ball up right in front of the rim for Mike Saunder's and Craig Durling. By the way I still owe Mike Saunders a wedgy. Honestly one day I'm gonna see him out, hopefully at Peakes or something and just wedgy the shit out of him, don't think I won't.

What's up everyone?

Time to step my post game up I guess...looks like everyone else has done so.

YouTube is no longer available at work which means I have to find some others mean of entertainment. It also means I can't watch any of the videos posted either. I managed to get a peak at your video there J. That's some of the grossest(sp?) shit I've ever seen. I literally couldn't watch it without dry heaving like crazy. I still haven't gotten through the whole thing and just thinking about it...alright, gotta stop thinking about it.

Never updated anyone on Vegas. Definitely the best music I've seen to date. The Roots show was unreal...Questlove is hilarious on the drums and all the musicians are way more talented than I originally anticipated. I posted a minute clip I caught with my digital cam on Youtube...I'm not sure what the link is and I can't get to it right now from work but I'll post it a bit later. Also, my suspicions are confirmed that Black Thought is indeed the most underrated emcee around. Speaking of The Roots, Questlove has a video blog going while The Roots do a tour of Europe. In other news, I'm now coaching the Queen Charlotte ball team. We're coming off a 2-1 weekend at the SIS tournament, lost to SIS on Saturday. SIS has some sick ball players coming up. Mainly due to the fact that they got like 450 kids in their minor ball program...kids are actually quitting hockey to play basketball, imagine. About time Charlottetown got our act together really. 1-0 regular season play thus far...beat East Wiltshire down last Tuesday. Coaching is fun as hell though.

Iceman hits Calgary

So it has been a long fuckin week here in Calgary. Donnie showed up in town last Tuesday night at around midnight. Since it was a Tuesday and it was midnight we decided to just go home and catch up the next day (aka no booze). Well, every single day since then we have been drinking, some days harder than others. I will leave it up to Donnie describe his time here, but from my point of veiw it was a drunken blur. Here are some highlights from the week:

• Wed - Men's league basketball - Donnie drops 20 against the worst team in history (drunk after)

• Thurs - HiFi to see The Rub - a DJ-ing group from NYC (Loaded Drunk)...and I locked Donnie out of the house all night (sound familiar Darcy?)

• Fri - Flames game then bar (Really Loaded Drunk)

• Sat - PEI party at Lyndsay Peters' place then HiFi to see In-Flight-Safety (Danny Ledwell's Band....Really Extremely Loaded Drunk)

• Sun - Football, Keith and Beer (I also managed to fit in getting a Nintendo Wii).

• Mon - Keith, Pub, mini-burgers, beer and Monday Night Football

Donnie, wicked week dude! I will be in Fernie as soon as I can. Darcy, my Nintendo Wii will be traveling home with me at Christmas....get ready...it is WICKED!

Remember Scarthys 'Fat Bump' on his neck?? Well, thats what I had on my shoulder. I had it for like 11 yrs and didnt think anything of it. The girl thats popping it is my exgf, Colleen, who is best friends with my current gf. Colleen used to be a massage theropist and was giving me a massage because I fucked up my back. I took my shirt off and told her not to worry about my 'spider egg bump' because thats what I named it. She said there was a blackhead on it and she could pop it and it would drain the whole thing... so she tried and this is what happened.

After part 1 (squeezed for 45 mins with only 30 seconds of video) and part 2 (25 mins of squeezing) the bump is totally gone... fuck those doctors.

I'm kinda internet famous after this... part 1 has 50,000 views and part 2 has 32,000 views after only 2 months. I get about 15 emails a day about the video asking me for part 3 about 5 emails a week of people telling me to go to the dr's... haha.

Had been trying to locate a pic from my weekend in Halifax. It was a Coors Light Maxim party and you got your pic taken with Hot Broads wearing nothing and the pics were supposed to be on the internet.

Anyway as it turns out I actually got thrown out of the Palace that evening, because on stage was where the people from across Canada who had won contests were hanging out with other Maxim chicks in a hot tub. For some reason I couldn't get past the idea that I deserved to be on the stage more than alot of these chumps. So after one of my many attempts to get on stage a Maxim chick told me to get down. She didn't like when I told her she was nothing but fake boobs, and wasn't worth shit, so I got thrown out.

Just finished a silly weekend in Halifax. A two night nonsence bender that involved very little sleep and lots of booze. Had to get up Sunday morning after 3 hours of sleep and drive back to Charlottetown cause Maxwell had to be back for a wake. Got home 2 hours sleep then had to drive to Moncton to get my stock order and Liv then drive back. Hit the Petro Canada just passed Port Elgin on the way back to PEI and hit the wall. Liv had to drive and there was something seriously wrong with me, like a bad mushroom trip or something. She was driving about 100km/h and I was freaking out that we were gonna get in an accident. Guess too much booze, lack of water and sleep will do that. Either that or i'm getting old and can't party hard anymore. Needless to say took the day off today and it's now 5:00 pm and i'm almost feeling ok.

Halifax is now officially fucked. Way too many young black people being way to ghetto for no reason. Honestly I know there are bad parts of Halifax but it's not like their are slums or serious ghetto's. We went to the mall and the Blood and Crips flags were flying high, bandanna's everwhere. Thought those gangs called a truce? Friday night there was a shooting at "Rain" which is a club we easily could have gone to, and a sailor from the States got slit ear to ear and died.

Business As Usual.

Alright... so I totally forgot about this blogger until Darcy reminded me about it today.... So here is an update of my life.

I live in Toronto now. I've lived here since mid-August or something and I love it. I live about 2 mins away from Dundas Square and the Eatons Center... you couldnt get more downtown than where I live and my rent reflects it. My Neighborhood is Boys town and is the gay capital of the country. Its pretty weird when you can walk 4 major blocks and not see any females.... gay boys, and hot hot hot female hookers.

I got another screen printing job here, but I'm also the Art Director as well. Its a pretty intense setup we have... we have a $30,000 automatic printing machine, a 4 color manual, an 8 color manual and this 'Direct To Garment' machine thats $40,000 and the only one in Canada. Its def a sweet job, but its in South Etobicoke which means to get to work at 8am, I have to leave my apt at 6:45am to take a subway... transfer to another subway and ride it for 45 mins.... then jump on a bus for another 20 mins. weak.

Risky Business has been on tour since I moved here. There is no way I could have been on tour and lived in Toronto at the same time so I didnt go out, but I did do the last week of tour with them hitting Syracuse, Philly, Baltimore, New Jersey, Connecticut, Boston and Montreal. In Philly I picked up a pair of Nike Air Stabbs for $40! In NJ I experienced Guitar Hero for the first time... and I need an PS2 just for that game.

Last month I picked up a Sidekick (hiptop... whatever) (ps. not my video)... its pretty siqqqq. I have a $25/m voice plan, and $20/m for UNLIMITED INTERNET USE!!! Rogers/Fido is discontinuing the Sidekick because the plan is so cheap... I basically got one of the last ones in Toronto. Hit me up... 647.868.2795.

I figure I'll move to Tofino (surf), Ferny (snowboard) or whistler (snowboard). And only work 40-60 hours a week. And enjoy my time off. Keep going at the carpentry and get my hours in..... I met some fucking dudes up here I gotta say. Lots of funny stories. Redneck motherfuckers.... Lots of hunting, fighting, and truck talk (Truck to any other vehicle ratio around 78%), (Of that 78%, 83% jacked up) Quarter tons are non existant up here, nothing below tree-quarters bye. Boys, What is up? I've been MIA for a solid while.

I'm still in SJ, working with Ralph, but I'm looking to head to TO or some where hot after I get my CA. The marks aren't out until late Nov. I don't want to write that again.

The exam was really short about 13 hours over three days. Day 1, 5 hours 1 question. Day 2 and 3, 4 hours 3 questions. Good times. I started my in depth Tax coruse too, Good lord I'm going to be such a loser, or even more so. Still with the same chick too, livin it up. Going pretty smoothly.

Never made it to PEI this summer, because of that exam. But hopefully I'll be back sometime soon. When is everyone going to be in town?

Another reason why I wrote on the blog was because today I was auditing an investment company and I saw the name Gregory. That made me think of Ryan Gregory (the real one, not the Gizza) and the time we were in Freddy in the toury and Ryan was "Shadowing" their best player (Max, maybe?). That made me laugh because Ryan sucked ass and his Dad was the coach.

The blog seems to be dead lately, except for some reliable posting from Eddie Potovinski. Started seeing patients in the clinic a couple weeks ago. So far going pretty well. Back and neck are killing me today and I am pretty fucking tired... so I can't wait for the weekend. Allas, those reggae radiohead covers are pretty nice. Been enjoying them thoroughly. I got a Kooks album the other day that was pretty cool, you might want to check them out if you haven't already. Going to be bottling some wine on the weekend. I didn't follow the instructions at all so it is probably going to be shit but based on the number of fruit flies hovering around it I am pretty sure it is not poison. The Wii comes out pretty soon, sounds like it might be pretty cool. Not going to get one, but if someone does let me know what you think.
