What up kids! I'm currently pumped cause I'm going to our New York conference this year in March (right after my birthday). The day before I leave NY, the Knicks are kicking the shit out of the Raptors. I just got a ticket (going by myself) to the game...I am sitting in section 13 in the 5th row. In other news, I went to the Flames game last night (man they fucking suck to watch), the Caps were in town which equates to the Ovechkin Show....he is a monster who is really dominate on the ice....crazy to see a kid that good at a man's game.

I figure I'll move to Tofino (surf), Ferny (snowboard) or whistler (snowboard). And only work 40-60 hours a week. And enjoy my time off. Keep going at the carpentry and get my hours in..... I met some fucking dudes up here I gotta say. Lots of funny stories. Redneck motherfuckers.... Lots of hunting, fighting, and truck talk (Truck to any other vehicle ratio around 78%), (Of that 78%, 83% jacked up) Quarter tons are non existant up here, nothing below tree-quarters bye. Boys, What is up? I've been MIA for a solid while.

I'm still in SJ, working with Ralph, but I'm looking to head to TO or some where hot after I get my CA. The marks aren't out until late Nov. I don't want to write that again.

The exam was really short about 13 hours over three days. Day 1, 5 hours 1 question. Day 2 and 3, 4 hours 3 questions. Good times. I started my in depth Tax coruse too, Good lord I'm going to be such a loser, or even more so. Still with the same chick too, livin it up. Going pretty smoothly.

Never made it to PEI this summer, because of that exam. But hopefully I'll be back sometime soon. When is everyone going to be in town?

Another reason why I wrote on the blog was because today I was auditing an investment company and I saw the name Gregory. That made me think of Ryan Gregory (the real one, not the Gizza) and the time we were in Freddy in the toury and Ryan was "Shadowing" their best player (Max, maybe?). That made me laugh because Ryan sucked ass and his Dad was the coach.

The blog seems to be dead lately, except for some reliable posting from Eddie Potovinski. Started seeing patients in the clinic a couple weeks ago. So far going pretty well. Back and neck are killing me today and I am pretty fucking tired... so I can't wait for the weekend. Allas, those reggae radiohead covers are pretty nice. Been enjoying them thoroughly. I got a Kooks album the other day that was pretty cool, you might want to check them out if you haven't already. Going to be bottling some wine on the weekend. I didn't follow the instructions at all so it is probably going to be shit but based on the number of fruit flies hovering around it I am pretty sure it is not poison. The Wii comes out pretty soon, sounds like it might be pretty cool. Not going to get one, but if someone does let me know what you think.

Event-full day

So today was a good day. Finished all the house/bank bullshit and bought two tournament passes for all 9 games (including 1 quarter-final, 1 semi-final) of the 2007 U-20 World Cup in Edmonton. Word on the street is that Canada is going to be playing 2 group games there. Also, just got tickets for Jurrasic Five at Mac Hall - small venue at the U of C....wicked interactive spot.

Donnie - I've been trying to call your fucked up cell number for like two weeks now....tell your boy to answer that motherfucker.

Fuckin' Pipelinin'....

What up fellas? I get a couple of minutes a week to get on the internet so I thought I'd post a way overdue blog... So yeah, for the last 2 or 3 weeks I've been in a little town about 2 hours from Fort St. John, called Chetwynd. Small place about the size of souris... Been working everyday 10-12 hours (getting paid for 12 though...), and staying at the cockaroach motel living like a king... I got my own fridge, microwave, t.v. (with cable), and the maids make my bed everyday and give me new soap... Other than that, it smells like piss, it's dirty, and the bed is uncomfy at best. Basically a redneck ghetto. I get free food everyday at a chinese restaurant too. It's pretty funny, you can get whatever the fuck you want, and they make your lunch the next day, we definetely take advantage of this... As far as the actual work, I've been working with this guy who I thought was an alright guy, then one day about a week ago he showed up in a not so good mood and has been giving me and everyone else with little experience shit ever since, he makes it so that your scared to fucking move around him and end up fucking up more than you ever would. But luckily I'll be done of this job either tommorow or the next day, and will more than definetly ask not to work with this guy again... So what do I do exactly all day? Basically they have long ass pipelines going through the mountains and every 40 feet or so they weld it together. For a while I was shrinking these plastic sleeves over the welds with a huge flame thrower. Pretty cool. You just walk down the line and do one after the other for miles... But for the last little while we've been putting together the ends of the lines into the facilities which is pretty fucked up and definetely a shittier job. So tommorow will be my cutoff day for my check which is my first ringer (14 days in a row). I should clear 2400-2600 bones... I get paid 16 bones an hour and get 4 hours overtime a day.... Pretty sweet. Anyway fellas sorry for such a long Darcy eske email, but it had to be done.

PEI - The gentle island (worst slogan I have ever heard)

Posting on this blog always seems to die down in the summer time. I'm bored out of my mind so I will try and heat things up again with a lengthy update for off-island islanders or OIIs ('oy.s')for short. Drove Donnie to the airport on tuesday as he is off to Fort St John in northern BC to make some money to pay of his debt and reach freedom 35. We got him pretty drunk the night before he left. He had probably a baker's dozen of various shots, a couple mixed drinks, and 3 or 4 pints of beer. He was suprisingly not as drunk as I was hoping, actually Kent was way more drunk then donnie, but we were able to get some jigs and the worm/crocodile out of him on the outdoor stage (thanks to Sauce for stepping it up and showing him how the croc was done - hilarious) at the confederation center which was covered with water. Old man Ed left early and missed out on most of the hilarities and T-revor showed up for a bit to tease his adoring fans and give them a taste of what it is like to be the shit. For a monday night there was a shit load of people at fishbones and it seemed like half of our colonel gray class was there. Got into a verbal argument with john andrew over carbohydrate and protein metabolism, which sounds, and is, ridiculous, but I couldn't help argue over his complete lack of understanding of nutrition for someone who I am sure gives tips to the athletes he trains on what to eat. Fuck I am such a nerd because I am still mad about it now. Unbelievable! Anyways I could go on and on but I think I would bore the shit out of everyone. Trying to work on a backyard soccer tourney sometime before I go. There is a stump that I need to remove but after that it is all systems go. I am still waiting for Big Blonson Johnson to write something on this blog (Fuck you Ian if you are reading this, I hate you and am never talking to you again... except for maybe if I ever see you again). Deb just got a oak tree from her class and Ronaldo planted it in the front yard if you want to come home and look after her (full-time job). Also I could use some assistance in what would be the best angle to attack the stump in the backyard. Maybe your opinion on the type and make of axe to use and what time of the day the stump is most vulnerable to attack.
Lyndsay has been making fun of me because of the number of computer my family has - it is kind of funny - the Tis' (chris, moira, jonas) have 3 computers, heather, megan, ron, deb, and me all have computers, and there is another computer in the room I am sleeping in. These are not counting the computers that ron, deb and chris use at their works.

So for the last little while when I meet chicks out and they ask me what I do, I've been telling them that I manage a Tim Horton's and I usually act like I'm the fucking man cause that is what I do. The other night this act was greatly appriciated by a girl who after hearing what I did for a living told me.."buddy, if you want to get a girlfriend try getting a better job. Realize that Tim's isn't going to impress anyone." Lucky for me she was a friend of a friend of a friend....and needless to say within a half an hour at the bar this story got back to my buddy (who knows her). Well he got a huge kick out of it, but more importantly he got a lot of enjoyment in telling her that I'm really an investment banker and that I don't make $20,000/yr managing FOBs.

So she comes up to me after all this and tells me that she wasn't totally wrong about me. She knew from the start that I was "a arrogant big headed mutherfucker who gets enjoyment out of jerking girls around and fails to realize that someday I WILL be alone and without anyone to love.." ....her words not mine.

Maybe so young lady, maybe so.....but hey at least I love myself....A LOT!

So I sent her an email today (got her email addy from my boy) with the subject line as Mirror!!! I wrote.. "I got a new mirror and you were totally right".......and then I attached this picture.




I also have a good story about when I tell girls I'm a religous studies major...but that is for another day.

For everyone that didn't know, I had a job offer from Merrill Lynch about a month ago. Pretty good opprotunity, would have had the opprotunity to work in China, London, NYC after a year in Calgary. But the bad thing was that they ASSURED me that I would work 100/wk every week for the next two years. Not my bag. Right now I'm working 60-85.....that's where I'm at kids. I might try and get home for a weekend in August....let me know if there is one that works for everyone.

Bball madness

This weekend PEI hosted the under 13 and 14 boys and girl eastern Canadian bball championships. I reffed some games in the tourny one of which was Brampton Ontario vs. a team from NB, this was in the U-13 boys division. I've already shared this with Darcy and Donnie but for the others I'll give a recap.

The premise for the game is that this team from Ontario had destroyed PEI the day before, 87-8 at half. Honestly. So my game starts, Brampton wins the tip scores a layup. NB inbounds only 3 guys go over half, 2 just sit under there defensive hoop waiting. I'm thinking what the fuck is going on. So the three NB players just go up one jacks a three, Brampton comes down scores. NB again same shit, 3 dudes one jacks a 3 two wait to play D. This was the game plan. Not to win, but to prevent Brampton from scoring lay ups, they'd just pack the key and let them shoot. Game are 4, 10 min quarters. 8 minute half time. game started at 8 I was out the door before 9.

Was fucked, this was the sickest group of under 13 ballers i've ever seen. Silly, they may have beet Colonel Gray, who had a good team this year. The best part Allas you'll like this since your Mt. A days of two asains on a ball team. Was that half of this team was asain, quick as fuck, the rest were DARK DARK DARK.

Silly, I might grab a program just to see 5 years down the road if any of these kids are on the scene.

I was wondering where all the World Cup talk was. So far I've watched every game and they've all been pretty good.

Frings for Germany still has the best goal from like 25 yards out. While watching the Argentina game, it would always show clips of a crazed fan who looked exactly like Maradonna and I was always thinking... "That dude loooks like a cross between Maradonna and Ron Jeremy..." . Turns out it was Maradonna... I love that guy.

Kool-Aid with Too Much Sugar I Guess

Well this has been a long time coming, and after one of my recent posts I have been contacted by a source who will remain...ah fuck it, lets call him Jesus(Hey-zeus). Jesus has informed me of the watchful eyes of lurkers upon our most holy of blogs. Subsequently Jesus has 'warned' me to watch what I say upon OUR blog. My first reaction was obviously "Who the fuck is looking at this? Who would be interested in what our circle of friends had to say?" Well then I thought about it for a bit and realized that it would be those who:

1) have no life of their own and need obtain enjoyment through the lives of others

2) have been (in a sense) lurkers their whole life and have easily adapted to internet lurking.

Looking back at some of our (my) previous posts I have realized that I probably insulted some people (actually many), places, things...etc. But as you (the non lurkers) guys are aware I really don't give a fuck. Nor have I ever given a fuck. I have ALWAYS done things my way, be it good or bad. Also I am quite aware of who did/does/didn't/doesn't like me or what I have to say in any way shape or form. Guess what...that's right go fuck yourself!

I will continue to be moi (in Mtl right now), and thus continue to say what ever I want, about whomever I feel. Pretty sure that those who I consider friends know who they are, yes JP we are still friends...even though I still have not received a single t-shirt as of yet. Maybe if we get this going when I get back I will be able to get all the t-shirts I want huh?

So to conclude this most holy of posts. I thank you Jesus for making me aware of this and for giving me the strength to continue being a complete fucker to those I dislike and who dislike me (many are one in the same).

In writing this I have had the urge many times to just call people the fuck out and say....fuck you, fuck you, fuck you, your cool, fuck you...but I have obviously not done this, due to Jesus telling me that this is not the righteous path to take. And I do believe he knows a thing or two about paths...and I know a lot about being righteous.

I'm gonna have to say I'm liking what I've heard of Gnarls Barkley. I've only heard the song "Crazy" but that songs the bombay. The video's kinda cool too. Damn it is hot in Mtl! So the last two weeks have been filled with mostly studying my ass off...but sometimes we drink. Last night was one of these nights. I studied till about 8:30pm and Dacry met me at the McGill Library (already pretty drunk), we went back to his spot played some soccer on the computer (I killed him) and pounded a case of PBR. Alright... So I lurk the blog everyday but I never post... I'm always too lazy login.... Here's the deal with me-

The move to Toronto is for sure... Nicole got accepted to Ryerson University for fashion design, so starts the hunt for an apt. Since I'm moving, I'm not playing in the band anymore and I'm missing another 2 month tour all over North Amercia... bummed. Heard about the Connolly clan getting fired the morning of....the Connolly clan members out here got the call and I was informed in the morning. Spoke to some members of the ball community and these are the interesting points:

I know people are hyped to see an Orkin pic but I'm sorry to dispoint. Unlike the company advertisements I actually look fresh in my outfit. Simply black dress pants and a white button up shirt. So sorry, I do have a hardhat, but it's not like I drive around town, or go to peoples house wearing it. Visited Peakes last night, was sober but drove the Jeep down and went in cause Ray Rashed was able to get us in past the extensive line up at both entrances. Anyway if there was ever any doubt of the quality of the girls on PEI, there isn't when your in there. I hate peakes personally, packed as fuck, nothing to do but walk around and listen to people freak out over the same song that they've been freaking out over everyweekend for the last 20 years. So Darcy...I'm gonna be there on Sat the 20th of May. Not sure when Heather and her crew are showing up but it will be fine...my plan is to sleep about 6 hours a day and study for 12-14, which leaves about 4 for eating and drinking.

Worst final four ever... Best Motley Crue ever....

What a disapointment... 3 blowouts, but that's alright because last weekends games were probably some of the best basketball I've seen in a long ass time... So I haven't wrote on this bitch in a long while. My Bad, My Bad.... But in all fairness I wrote a big ass message a couple of weeks ago (at school) regarding the Motley Crue concert but when I went to send it the system crashed. Piss me off... So I'll fill you in for those of you who didn't hear... Motley Crue was unreal... One of the best shows I've ever seen. Strippers, fireballs, fireworks, midgets, choppers, Loud ass music, Tommy Lee, Tommy Lee in his underwear flying above the crowd playing 2 suspended drum sets, and finally Tommy Lee operating the Titty Cam for the big screens (girls flash their tities for the whole place to see)... Good times.... Speaking of big concerts... Word on the street is Nofx is coming to Halifax for a big outdoor festival... Should be pretty sweet... Ohh and a band called RISKY BISNASSSSS is going to be one of the opening acts... SWEET!!!! Can't wait.

Long time no post chumps. Well I relly don't remember the last time I posted so here is an update.

Went to Toronto to see Bobby (roommate from MTA that some of you might remember) and did the following:

• two raps games
• leafs game
• drink and dis Cabbie at the club.

Have been working a lot as of late, and thus haven't had a lot of time to devote to anything. Got TIVO (or the Shaw version of it), so that has been good for my sports watching...I record all the good ball games and PTI everyday.

Going to Vegas Apr 12 - 16 with Scott Morrison, Jon McKercher, Phil Davis and one of Jonny's boys from Mtl. Should be a good time. Also I have booked my ticket with WestJet and will be in Mtl from May 20 - June 4. I will be writing the CFA there on June 3 and thus will be studying my ass off while there, BUT, this will only be a 10 hour a day thing starting at 7am every morning so please anyone and everyone come down and hang for a weekend (preferrablely the first one - May 20). I will be staynig with D-money so we all know that a messy drunk is going to be in order at some point during my trip.

Let's see what else.....oh, I've been dating the same girl for over a month now, so a messy break-up should be on the way...can't wait. You would think that I could get better at this over time. But nope, everytime is the same damn thing.....girl loves me then girl hates me. I need to figure out a way to end relationships and still be able to say hi to the girl. That's my goal for before I turn 30. Which is in less than 4 years now....I still can't believe that I'm 26.....am I still allowed to fuck 19 yr olds (conversion is -> me grade 12 her grade 5).....cause this is still happening and I haven't been told otherwise. So if any of you know, fill me in. I know that J is on my side on this one.

The tournament starts in less than an hour...good thing we have a tv in the office or I would loose my mind. Fuck CNBC, from thurs - sun this tv is gonna be on NCAA Basketball bitches.

Just got a new JOB as the Orkin man, for those of you who don't know they do alot of shit but mostly commercial Pest Control. Not Bobby Lawn Care style but that didn't hurt me in landing the job. Anyway it's gonna be a nice change to finally have a job that has a gaurenteed pay check of a fixed amount of $$$$ at the end of every week. Benefits, Pension, huge potential for sales commission and a truck, it's all good in the hood.
